Colored her with Copics, Wink of Stella and added Glossy Accents to her eyes and lips. I used Spellbinders dies and some very old paper from Paper Adventures (are they even in business anymore?) You know it was one of those pretty papers I never wanted to cut! You know what I'm talking about LOL! I matted the image on some mulberry paper. I have a tip for tearing the mulberry paper HERE. I finished it off with some satin ribbon and a rhinestone charm. In hindsight I should have added some rhinestones to the corners of the card. Thank you to Delicious Doodles for having me as their GDT!! Hugs, Kathi :)
Almost time for the 1st day of school that is! Are you other Moms as excited as I am?? LOL! Well to help with your excitement we have a new challenge at Kitty Bee Designsand the theme this time is SCHOOL. The sponsor is one of my favorites Bugaboo Stamps.
This image is called Deacon - school sign it. He is colored with Copics and the chalkboard is colored with chalks. The tag is an MFT die set Blueprint #9. I also used the Dots and Dashes die along the edges by Paper Smooches. That's it! Pretty simple this time :) We hope you have some time to join us for the next 2 weeks at Kitty Bee Designs or just come check out the inspiration from the DT! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs, Kathi
I'm using Lucky Bamboo Panda for my spotlight atKitty Bee Designs . This adorable image was colored with Copics and layered on a Memory Box die. The Asian inspired paper is very old and from my stash. Mini flag die and good luck sentiment are from My Favorite Things.
Hi all! Just a quick post to let you know about our challenge at 613 Avenue Create. We're Anything Goes but our optional twist is Happy Birthday! This week our fabulous sponsor are Melonheadz Illustrations& Chubby Mermaid. Since adult coloring books are all the rage right now you should check out Chubby Mermaid. She has some beautiful designs! I have a birthday easel card to share with you but I did not use any sponsors this week. Hope you like and yes I realize I'm late with another Cancer card! LOL!
This button actually had the two holes at the TOP of the button. Don't know if it was an error but I wish I had more!! Thanks for stopping by and come visit our neighborhood at 613 Avenue Create, we have some very talented ladies sharing their designs. Hugs, Kathi
LOL...what a cheezy line huh? Well, my husband got a kick out of it. Which is good because it was his birthday card...my little crab! LOL! I love this set from Mama Elephant. It has all of the zodiac signs called Cosmic Stars. I also used the coordinating set Starry Night which has the sentiments. I used Versamark ink to stamp the crab background. The t-shirt and tag dies are by My Favorite Things. The tag was embossed with a folder from The Paper Studio. And the little crab was colored with Copics.

I had this perfect sentiment by Verve Stamps. My stars for the optional twist are embossed on the yellow cardstock and inked slightly with black ink. Dies are from MFT and Impression Obsession. Colored with Copics and chalks, paper pieced umbrella and boots. Glossy accents were added to the raindrops and puddle.
We have 3 great sponsors this week so come join us at 613 Avenue Create and you can also check out the gorgeous DT samples!
Hi all, I'm running a little late with my Kitty Bee Designsproject! This was one of those projects that I had a great idea to make a Christmas ornament with sand, shells and sea glass but that just didn't happen. Instead I have a card for our Summer Fun theme for the Aloha Friday Challenge. You can find Kitty Bee images on Etsy HERE.
The sea turtle was printed on watercolor paper where I used the saran wrap technique. Shading was added with Copics. The sentiment stamp is by My Favorite Things.
I put him on an action wobble and bent his fins upward so it looks like he's swimming!
I'm here today with my DT spotlight forKitty Bee Designs. There is still another week to enter the current challenge. This time I used the Best Friends Bunimage. My husband (and best friend) reminded me recently that I haven't left him any love notes in his lunch bag or wallet in a long time. Poor thing must feel neglected LOL! So his love note measures 2.5" x 3" and colored with Copics. I used a Spellbinder banner die, Mama Elephant confetti die for the hearts and the sentiment is by Verve Stamps. Paper is from a 6x6 American Crafts pad. I added a little clear WOS to the heart too, just because it needed just a little sparkle LOL! Hope you like this snuggly pair!
Happy 4th of July to all of my friends in the US! I hope everyone had a safe and fun filled day. I found a 4th of July scrapbook page that I never posted and it goes perfectly withour optional twist this week at 613 Avenue Create. The twistis to use our newest Create Your Own Challenge chart.
Hi! Happy Friday! It's time for the new challenge at Kitty Bee Designsthe Aloha Friday challenge theme is BIRTHDAY. Easy Peasy huh? We all need birthday cards, right? For my DT project I used this adorable little bear.
The heart/banner and bear dress/shoes are water colored and paper pieced. Bear was colored with Copics and I used the colorless blender to "dot" the image after coloring it to add some texture. Dies are by My Favorite Things and Lawn Fawn. And I added a few Jolee's crystals to the flowers. I hope you like my first official DT project for Kitty Bee Designs! Come join the fun! Hugs, Kathi
Hi Everyone! I'm here today to share my first DT Spotlight for Kitty Bee Designs! I just love the images I think they are just too cute! I chose an image from the Cows 1 set. I printed the image 3" tall. I love this saying, for some reason it just makes me chuckle :) It was printed on the computer.
This cutie was colored with Copics then fussy cut and popped up with foam on the sponged cloud background. I used an Avery Elle stitched edge die on the rectangle and a I believe the grass die is by Impression Obsession. I also ran the chisel tip of my Copic R37 around the edges of the words. The red vintage seam binding was bought at a yard sale, I'm always on the look out for that! So come join the current challenge - #49 Masculine Cards at the Aloha Friday Challenges! You still have 1 week to join. Thanks for stopping by! Hugs, Kathi
I try to have someone in mind when I create my DT projects and it usually ends up being my daughter Shianne. So...this weeksAnything Goes challenge at 613 Avenue Createhas the optional twistto use Subway Art. I really like subway art, it's fun. I found a free program that let's you create your own called Wordle which is what I used on my project. Bugaboo Stamps is one of our sponsors this week and I used the image called Bugaboo Brat Bugs.
Dies by MFT, Impression Obsession, Papertrey Ink. The image was masked and the clouds were sprayed with Perfect Pearls. I did a little doodling along the edges. Black eyelets and a wire hanger were added at the top.
